Why You Should Be Sleeping On a Silk Pillowcase

I started sleeping with a silk pillowcase in an effort to combat my insane bed head I woke up with every morning. I have always been a bit of a rough sleeper, and I tend to move a lot in the night. These sleeping habits led me to have a head full of knots to brush through every morning. I decided to try out a silk pillowcase to see if I could tame my morning hair situation.

I’m so happy I did, because it has completely changed my morning routine. I now wake up with hair that looks remotely the same as it did when I went to bed. I’ve also found that I don’t wake up with creases all over my face (which tbh was probably causing wrinkles). Besides from the physical perks, it also feels so soft and luxurious to sleep on. I love getting into bed, spraying some relaxing lavender+eucalyptus sleep spray and lying down for some nice beauty sleep.

While there are a couple expensive versions on the market like Slip (here), there are also some cheaper alternatives that are practically the same product without the brand name. The key is that you do not want satin, you want 100% mulberry silk for a true dupe of the Slip Pillowcase. Here is a good inexpensive dupe!

I personally have Slip, as it was given to be as a Christmas gift, but I have gifted my friends and sister these amazon dupes. They make the perfect gift for anyone in your life that loves self care.
