Weekly Favorites Roundup: May 11-17

  1. I just ordered this top from Lululemon. My first ever Lulu purchase. I know…crazy. I am usually not one to spend a ton of money on workout apparel, but I got a Lululemon gift card for my birthday so I was excited to finally get on the bandwagon. This tank sells out within 20 minutes every time it goes onto the site, so when I saw it go live, I knew I had to act fast. I am so excited for it to get here! I will report back on how I like it! (ps- people recommend sizing up)
  2. My sister Calista is an amazing baker, and she made me this cake for my birthday. It was THE BEST CAKE I have ever had. I am not usually a cake person since it is so rich but this was perfect. Almond cake with a raspberry buttercream. Simple beautiful and delicious. She got the recipe here and used almond extract instead of vanilla!
  3. I finally got a LiketoKnowIt! I get DMs from people asking me where I get things so I figured why not. I love when people I follow are transparent about where their stuff so I wanted to do the same. You can follow me here! Let me know if you want me to add anything!
  4. I ordered some of this to keep in my purse and also got my mom one. Have you ever seen a more beautiful hand sanitizer?! The design is so pretty and subtle and I am obsessed. The bottle is glass so I can just refill it #sustainability. It also feels good to support smaller US based companies during this time #shopsmall.
  5. I have found my new favorite drink. A year ago I set out to become a real adult by learning to like carbonated water. It was difficult at first (lol) but now I LOVE. I will be the first to admit that all sparkling water is not created equal. My latest must have drink is Topo Chico with lime. It is like a less sugary and syrupy sprite. Please note: you must drink it while it is cold!
  6. The new Chrissy Tie-in Cravings Collection came out at target, and there are so many pretty pieces! I am eyeing this bowl and this salad serving set.
  7. I just finished rereading this book for the 3rd time. Every single time I read it I take away something new. I consider this book more of a handbook than a book you read once and then move on. I love that the author walks you though all of the different steps of financial fitness and talks to you like a 5 year old, because honestly most of us (my age) have a very elementary understanding of the financial world. I am grateful for a book that doesn’t expect me to know the difference between different investment accounts and what the heck a Roth IRA is. This is a MUST READ for anyone who wants to get their financials in check.

There you have it, another weekly roundup in the books. Hope everyone is staying safe during this crazy time. See you back next week!
