Weekly Favorites: May 4-10

  1. I have been eyeballing this BEAUTIFUL cream blush for a long time on Sephora, but every time I am ready to pull the trigger it is sold out in this color. The color looks like the perfect peachy tone for summer and would look great on so many skin tones. I am purchasing today for my birthday. Yay!
  2. I picked up this cookbook for my sisters birthday about a week ago and we have already tried 4 of the recipes. They have all been amazing and we are so excited to keep trying. I have her first cookbook which I love, but this one seems like it has even more recipes I would use. Plus the cover and binding are beautiful which would make them perfect for kitchen styling. Double win!
  3. If you are in the LA area, you have to stop at Portos bakery for their giant fruit tarte. It is only $26 and it is massive! We had this instead of a birthday cake for my sister and I could not get over how beautiful and yummy it was. Especially for the price. Purchasing all of that fruit alone would cost more. ( They are still taking orders during quarantine so just make sure to call in your order ahead of time).
  4. I decided that it was time for me to add retinol  into my skincare routine. I have read so much online recently about the best retinol and how to use it. I decided to go with this one because of the rave reviews. I don’t have too sensitive of skin so I am hoping my skin adjusts to it without too much fuss. I will give a review once I have used it for a few months.
  5. I have been loving using this site to manage my budget and keep track of my money (not sponsored). Since I just graduated college I am going to start paying off my student loans pretty soon here. I have always been very good with my money, but having student loan payment is something I haven’t had to worry about before.  I would like to pay them off as much as I can while the interest rates are at 0% #coronavirus #covid19.
  6. I am not sure when the world will be open for travel, but I am counting down the days. After having to cancel my graduation trip 🙁 I am just dreaming of the day I will get to finally celebrate on the beaches in Italy. When I am bored, I love to scope out airbnbs around the world that I would love to stay in in the future. I found this one in Mallorca, and this one where you stay in a palace in Tuscany for $22?! Also- if you have never stayed in airbnb you can sign up with my link and get $40 off your booking (aka basically two nights at that tuscan palace)
  7. Lastly, what I have been listening to: Lennon Stellas new album Three. Two. One. I love her music and this new album is amazing! I think my favorite songs are Golf on TV and Kissing Other People. You can listen on Spotify here.

There you have it! Another Weekly Favorites roundup. Here is to another week and another year of life for me. Cheers to 23!
