Monthly Favs: January 2021

Disclaimer: I am fully aware it is the middle of February, but I told myself that one of my resolutions was to keep this website a bit more up to date. So let’s pretend it is still January, and talk about my favorites of the month.

I have hated lipgloss pretty much my entire life. I cannot do sticky—it just drives me insane. I recently discovered this lip oil and I will never turn back. All the glossy perfect pout gorgeousness without the hair sticking to your lips. I also am dying to try this one.

This faucet for our kitchen. I searched high and low for gold a kitchen faucet that did not look cheap or break the bank. After reading hundreds of reviews I decided to get this one, and we have been so happy with it since. If you are remodeling, or even just looking for a small kitchen update– I highly recommend this brand.

I have been listening to Heat Waves by Tame Impala on repeat all month (click here if you use Spotify). The album came out in 2020, but I never gave it a good listen until recently. Does anyone have to listen to a song at least 3x before they like it?

My best purchase of the month was a massive rug I scored at Home Goods. Home Goods is always so hit and miss for me. I am so picky about home decor, so I usually leave empty-handed but not this time. I walked in right as they were hanging rugs up, and was able to snag this rug that was the perfect size for my oversized living room. I do not have a link to the exact one– but I will link rugs from the same designer that are in stock right now!

The Crown on Netflix. I am a sucker for a historical drama and Cole and I have been loving watching The Crown. I know we are a bit late to the bandwagon on this one, but seriously such a good watch.

This chapstick was gifted to me by one of my friends for Christmas and I am obsessed. It tastes so good and is moisturizing and not sticky at all. It is the perfect size for my work bag and I love it.

I had wanted this bag FOREVER and I finally treated myself. If you are a minimal gal like me and hate carrying millions of things in my purse, this is perfect for you. It perfectly fits my phone, wallet, keys, and chapstick. I love wearing it crossbody on the tightest strap. It instantly upgrades every outfit.

My favorite new hair trend is bouncy voluminous hair. I am so glad stick-straight hair is going out of style because it was DESTROYING everyone’s hair. During quarantine I took a 5-month hiatus from the straightener and my hair has never looked better. I love blowing my hair out with this dryer and then throwing these rollers in while I do my makeup. It gives you those beautiful Rachel Green curls that look good on everyone.

This candle is amazing. I love a mix of feminine & masculine scents, and this candle is a perfect marriage of the two. It also doesn’t hurt that is pretty enough to keep on your kitchen counter.
